U.S Secretary of State to visit Kenya, Nigeria & Senegal

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken will travel to Kenya, Nigeria, and Senegal next week. It is the first time the highest-ranking official from the Biden administration will be visiting sub-Saharan Africa.

Blinken’s meeting with Kenya’s Uhuru Kenyatta, Muhammadou Buhari of Nigeria, and Senegal’s Macky Sall will centre on economic cooperation, security, and COVID-19.

What specific issues would you expect these leaders to prioritize as they meet next week?■
