TikTok LAUNCHES ITS OWN RADIO STATION
■ American satellite broadcasting company, SiriusXM announced the launch of TikTok Radio yesterday on its Channel 4.
Described as “featuring the trending sounds that are redefining pop culture from TikTok”, the channel is built to sound like a radio version of TikTok’s For You feed.
The channel will feature a weekly “The TikTok Radio Trending Ten” as a countdown of the top 10 songs on the app Fridays at 3pm with additional replays and on-demand on SiriusXM’s app.
The TikTok Radio will also host celebrity DJs for a weekly live mixshows on Fridays and Saturdays at 7pm that will also be live on TikTok.
The channel will also have a “Creator Invasion” program with appearances from creators on the app including Alex Warren, Ashnikko, Bella Poarch, Dillon Francis, Dixie D’Amelio, Ed Sheeran, Jack Harlow, Just Stef, JXDN, Lil Nas X, Loren Gray, Nessa Barret, Normani, Spencer X, Tai Verdes, and Walker Hayes.●
